Yemen Emergency Waste Assessment

The Yemen Emergency Waste is publicly available. This summer DWR conducted this study for UNDP Yemen to identify the impact of the ongoing conflict on public authorities’ ability to deliver waste collection and to assess the damage to waste and recycling infrastructures.

The assessment identified 6 areas of intervention to strengthen local authorities’ capacity and provide livelihood support in the Governorates of Aden, Amran, Hajjah, Mukalla, Sana’a, and Sa’adh.

After being shared with all relevant stakeholders at the Yemen WASH and Early Recovery clusters, the report is available to the public through Humanitarian Response website.
