Recognising the challenges facing communities dealing with disaster wastes, and appreciating the need to provide support, a group of qualified and highly skilled disaster waste management experts has established Disaster Waste Recovery (DWR).

DWR is a not-for-profit organisation registered in the UK with the aim of providing timely waste management support to communities affected by disasters.
